Who is responsible for your data
Claudia Alfa Islas Valencia, who operates the wellness center under the trade name “Paxio”, located at Simón Bolívar 191, Col. Obrera, 44140 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data, in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and applicable regulations.
For anything related to your data, email us at contacto@paxio.mx or call +52 33 3044 8113.
What personal data we use
To provide our services we may ask for:
- Identification and contact details: name, phone, WhatsApp and email.
- Details of your bookings and payments: treatments, dates, deposits and payment method. We do not store your card details.
- Tax details, only if you request an invoice: RFC, name or company name, tax regime and postal code.
- Details of the person receiving a gift certificate, when you provide them.
Sensitive data: to keep your treatment safe, we may ask about your health (for example, pregnancy, injuries, allergies, conditions or contraindications). We only use it to adapt your treatment and will ask for your express consent before processing it.
What we use it for
Purposes required for the service you request:
- Booking, confirming, changing or cancelling your appointments.
- Providing your treatment safely and adapted to your condition.
- Charging deposits and services, and issuing invoices when requested.
- Issuing and validating gift certificates.
- Answering your questions, complaints and comments, and meeting our legal obligations.
Additional purposes that are not required for the service: sending you promotions, news and greetings, and inviting you to rate our service. If you do not want us to use your data for these purposes, email contacto@paxio.mx with the subject “No promotions”. Saying no does not affect the services you request.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. We only disclose it without your consent where the law allows, for example when required by a competent authority.
We use providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions, such as online booking (Calendly), messaging (WhatsApp), payment processing and website analytics (Google Analytics). They may not use your data for their own purposes.
Your ARCO rights and how to withdraw consent
You have the right to access, rectify and cancel your data or object to its use (ARCO rights), and to withdraw the consent you gave us. To do so, send a request to contacto@paxio.mx including:
- Your name and a way to send you our reply.
- An official ID (or that of your legal representative, with proof of representation).
- A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise, and any document that helps us locate it.
We will reply within 20 business days and, if your request is valid, carry it out within the following 15 business days. Withdrawing consent does not have retroactive effect, and in some cases we may not be able to act on it immediately if we must keep processing your data to meet a legal obligation.
How to limit the use of your data
You can ask us to stop sending you promotions by emailing contacto@paxio.mx. You can also sign up for the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising of Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO).
Cookies and tracking technologies
On paxio.mx we use Google Analytics to measure, in aggregate, how the site is used: pages viewed, device type, approximate city and clicks to WhatsApp, the phone or the booking calendar. The online booking calendar (Calendly) and the map (Google Maps) are third-party services that may use their own cookies under their privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice because of changes in the law, our services or our practices. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
If you believe your right to the protection of your personal data has been violated, you may contact the competent authority.
